2) A rolling wave on a dark sea, 3) A container for alcohol
For a more theatrical approach and for kids, David
appears a "Graybeard the Ancient Mariner" presenting the lore and lives of real
pirates and a treasure chest of maritime artifacts.

David appears at schools, libraries, events and festivals as Graybeard,
the Ancient Mariner,
where he sings songs and talks to kids about his life as a sailor.
Like the Ancient Mariner of the Coleridge poem, Greybeard is a wizened
mariner wandering the world recounting his stories. Graybeard
carries a treasure chest full of maritime artifacts to stimulate
questions and gives honest, historical answers to what kids want to know
about his life at sea. (With a name like "Drake", the sea is in
David's blood!)
